ralph_lister Following post-graduate classical training at LAMDA, Lister spent 15 years in mainstage theatre in London, Madrid, Hong Kong and Edinburgh before moving to America to focus on film and television.

Numerous roles in Shakespeare (Bardolph, Dauphin, Romeo, Bottom, Cassio, Pompey, Edgar) and in contemporary and modern drama (Algernon in Oscar Wilde’s The Importance Of Being Earnest, Freddie Page in Terrence Rattigan’s The Deep Blue Sea) have now given way to starring roles in independent films Tomorrow, Headhunter, The Seventh Bottle, November’s Spring, Wednesday Afternoon, Ancanar, Grinding Steel, Jewel Of The Sahara, Coercion, and Walk On In Darkness.

Lister’s voice and character work can be heard in Walt Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, in Revolution Studios’ Thirteen Going On Thirty, in Pioneer Entertainment’s animé series 3×3 Eyes: Legend of the Divine Demon (with Ed Asner), Hellsing, and Amazing Nurse Nanako, in PBS historical documentary The Gathering Storm, as well as in commercial work for Wrigleys, Texaco, and the Louisiana Tourism Commission.
