Contest Sponsored by Sakura Color Products of America Inc., who is dedicated to providing high quality, safe and reliable writing instruments, markers and artistic mediums.
All entries must be entered by Saturday August 29th at 1pm. Winners will be announced on Saturday by 4pm.

Theme: Subject matter must be a character that one of our Voice Actor guests has played. All entries must be entered on Sunday by 12pm. Winners will be announced by 2pm.
RULES FOR BOTH CONTESTS:
One entry per person per contest.
May be in BW or Color
Must not be over 8.5x11
Must not be framed
Must be suitable for all ages
Must be original
No digitally enhanced artwork
JUDGING:
Winners will be
determined by our guests based on group consensus. Winners will be based
on originality as well as technical merit. Art is very subjective. If you
don't win this time, don't get discouraged. It doesn't mean that you aren't
a good artist. Many of our guests will be on hand throughout the day to
offer suggestions and critiques.
There will be a 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize. Winners must be present to claim their prizes. You need not be present to win, but someone representing you must be attend the show to claim your prize. Prizes will be in the form of Convention Shopping Sprees.
Contest Rules:
Entries Must be Created on a Computer.
( You may work from the scan an original pencil sketch, but the final entry MUST be inked/colored in a digital imaging program such as Adobe Photoshop.)
One Entry per Person.
Entries may be in BW or Color although Color is preferred.
Entries MUST be original work. Any art that is copied or stolen from another source will be disqualified.
Fan Art is allowed.
Entries must be accompanied by a scanned copy of your original pencil sketch. This will prove that it is your work & not downloaded from someone else's website.
Submissions must be suitable for all ages.
Submissions must be 8inx10in or 10inx8in canvas at 300 ppi/dpi JPG or PDF format. If you are unsure of how to do this please click here for the tutorial.
Please be sure to include your full First and Last name in your email. We will only put your signature name or first name and last initial on the site if you request it.
All enteries must be submitted by July 17, 2009.

Subject: Digital Art
• Must be 12 pages
• Must be drawn or composed at 11x17 with 1 inch top margins and 1/2 inch side margins.
• Must be a one-shot story (no continuing story arc)
• Must be completely penciled and inked (tones optional)
• Must be scanned in at 300 dpi and sent in as JPEG, TIFF, PNG format to scattered_cat@yahoo.com
• Judging will performed by the SCCG
• All Entries Must Be Submitted By July 17, 2009

2ND PLACE WINNER:
• 2nd story published in comic
• Gets back cover
