SacAnime is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all attendees.
During SacAnime Summer 2025, our ADA information booth will be located in the Grand Ballroom. If you are in need of accommodations, please visit our table for assistance.
Accessibility FAQ
Q: What accommodations do you offer?
A: SacAnime provides a range of accommodations, including:
Accessible seating for panels and major events
Assistance with lines where possible
Closed Captioning is available in the two Celebrity Panel rooms, located in the Hyatt Ballroom and Memorial Auditorium.
Q: What if I don’t see the accommodation I need listed?
A: If you require additional accommodations not mentioned above, please contact us at sacanimevip@gmail.com or visit the ADA Information Booth during the event. We’ll do our best to assist you.
Q: Do you offer wheelchair or mobility aid rentals?
A: SacAnime does not provide mobility aids on-site. However, we’ve compiled a list of local medical equipment rental providers for your convenience. Please refer to the section below for details.
Q: Are animals allowed?
A: For the safety and comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted. Only trained service animals, as defined by the ADA, are allowed. For full details on our service animal policy, please see the section below.

SacAnime Accessibility Policy – Service Animals
SacAnime is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all attendees, including individuals with disabilities who rely on trained service animals. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to perform specific tasks or work directly related to the handler’s disability.
Please note that animals providing emotional support, comfort, or therapy are not recognized as service animals under the ADA and therefore will not be permitted inside the event venue.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and accessible environment for all attendees.
Service Animal Policies
To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees, SacAnime enforces the following policies regarding service animals:
Supervision: Service animals must remain under the control and supervision of their handler at all times.
Unattended Animals: Service animals may not be left unattended under any circumstances.
Clean-Up Responsibility: Handlers are responsible for being prepared to clean up after their animals at all times.
Health & Safety: SacAnime reserves the right to deny or remove access to any service animal that is deemed a threat to the health or safety of guests, staff, other service animals, or is found to be in violation of these policies.
Service Animal Credentialing Policy & Procedures: All service animals must be credentialed by SacAnime’s Accessibility (Access) Program staff prior to entering the event. This policy applies to all service animals, including those traveling from out of state.
Credentialing Procedures:
Upon arrival at the security checkpoint, inform the security staff that you are accompanied by a service animal and request that they contact the ADA/Accessibility team and/or direct you to our ADA Information Booth.
The Accessibility Staff will assist you promptly and issue the appropriate credential tag for your service animal.
This process is designed to be quick, respectful, and efficient, ensuring minimal delay while maintaining the safety and accessibility of the event.
Only service animals that have been credentialed and are wearing the official convention collar tag will be permitted inside the venue.

SacAnime Accessibility – Wheelchair Rentals
While SacAnime does not provide mobility aids on-site, we have compiled a list of local medical equipment rental providers for your convenience. Attendees are responsible for coordinating all rental arrangements, including delivery and pickup at their hotel, as well as covering any associated costs.
We recommend making arrangements in advance to ensure availability during the event.
