Where is Registration/VIP pick up/purchase at?
Registration will be at the ticketing booths in front of the entrance to CalExpo (Parking Lot D/Blue Gate)
How much is Parking?
Parking is $10 per day.
Do tickets roll over?
If you purchase a physical ticket from us at one of our events or sister locations, they are valid for the year listed on the ticket (starting with the September 2025 event). If you are purchasing online through Ticketspice, and are concerned you will not make it, purchase the “Purchase Protection” insurance.
Can I request guests?
We are always accepting guest suggestions, but we do ask that you do not contact the celebrities directly via social media. We book our guests through agents and booking companies, and usually have guests booked up to a year before the show.
How do I apply to be an exhibitor?
You can contact sacanimeexhibitors@gmail.com to inquire about exhibitor space. Our show does fill up quickly, and we do have a waiting list, but we are always interested in finding new and exciting exhibitors.
How/where do I sign up for the cosplay masquerade?

If I have a valid wristband, do I have in and out privileges?
Yes, as long as you have your wristband you can leave and return for the day(s) your wristband is valid.
Do I have to leave my wristband on? What if I have a costume?
Yes, you must always be wearing your wristband while you are attending the show. We understand that you may wish to cosplay as your favorite character, but you must still be wearing your wristband and show it when requested by security or a staff member.
If I lose or remove my wristband can I get a replacement?
No, if you remove your wristband we cannot replace it. If there is an emergency, or extenuating circumstance then please speak with on-site Customer Service at the Sheraton Ballroom.
Do you offer a military discount? Senior discount? Student discount?
We do not have discount programs on-site. If you purchase a physical weekend ticket at the previous event, it costs half of the “at the door” price.
If I’m attending with my child and my spouse/significant other is taking them tomorrow can I give them my pass?
Unfortunately, no. Wristbands are not transferrable.
If I have a caretaker, do they have to have a ticket?
Yes, everyone must have a credential to be in the event. Please see our ADA desk in Registration of you have any questions.
Where is the swap meet?
Information on the Swap Meet will be posted closer to the event date.
What is the weapon policy?

What is the dress code?
Cosplay inspired by fictional characters is permitted, but for the safety and comfort of all attendees, costumes or clothing that resemble local, state, or federal law enforcement officers or agents is prohibited.
– Cosplay Masks are allowed however, security and staff may ask you to remove your mask at any time, for any reason for identification purposes.
– For public safety, Full-face masks are not allowed outside of the convention spaces.
– Cosplay masks must be removed during entry inside the venue
– Masks or costumes covering most or part of the face are not allowed to be worn while entering or exiting the convention entry points. They can be worn in all other convention‑exclusive spaces.
California Penal Code 314 and Sacramento city code 9.04.060 will be enforced in our venue. Attendees must have nipples/genetalia covered up. Lewd behavior will not be tolerated.
When will the guests autograph prices be posted?
We post the pricing for the guests as soon as their agents share it with us, but they do reserve the right to change their pricing at the convention. All guest pricing is set by the guest and their agent. SacAnime has no control over this.
When will the guests be signing at their tables? Are they only appearing at the panels?
Guests are scheduled to be at the show for the entire weekend, unless stated on their announcement. They will be at their autograph tables throughout the convention day barring meal breaks/panels/photo ops.
