SacAnime Welcomes Amir Talai

Amir Talai will be attending SacAnime Summer 2024.Amir Talai (Alastor / Tom Trench) had no idea what he was signing up for when he auditioned for Hazbin Hotel, but he is grateful for the magically hellish convergence of events that led to Vivienne happening upon a stranger’s randomly posted video of his performance of Bert Healy in Annie at the Hollywood Bowl. Outside Hazbin, Amir is known for numerous appearances in film, TV, commercials, and theater. Some of his favorites in no particular order: HIMYM, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Campus Ladies, The Comeback, Marriage Story, The Shrink Next Door, Ghosts, LA to Vegas, Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, Curb Your Enthusiasm, We Will Rock You, Merrily We Roll Along, and An Octoroon. He can often be found performing improv at the Groundlings Theatre, where he was a member of the Sunday Company. He loves poker, reading, the Golden State Warriors, his enormous dog Joey Bear, and most of all his wife Nina and his family in San Francisco. He is incredibly grateful to everyone in the Hellaverse, but especially the random dude who posted a video of him, Vivienne, Richard, and most of all the fans, whose grace and enthusiasm in welcoming him to the Hazbin family have made him feel like he’s been inappropriately touched by an angel!
